Review:

I started this project by collecting images that represented me and that symbolize things about me. I then took my self portrait and embedded it into photoshop. After that I placed my images in the order I liked, I used blend modes like soft light, exclusion and others to blend my images together. I also used clipping masks and adjustment layers for some of my images. At last I exported my projects in wix. In Photoshop Blend modes are used as an easy way to merge images together. Layer masks are used to hide parts of a layer you don't want or need instead of erasing them. Adjustment layers are non destructive editing tools that add color and tonal to your images without permanently changing its pixels. My college represents my identity because there's symbols that represent my feelings, thoughts, and goals that I have kept to myself. For example the japanese cherry blossom tree symbolizes wanting to start new beginnings in all areas in life. I also created my own symbol that represented self love, which was the mirror with the swans inside it. I chose to do it this way because not only do the swans look very alike and  are staring at each other, but their head and necks make a heart shape, which is like staring at your reflection in the mirror and feeling good and happy with yourself.  I think my project was successful because it is colorful and it has a “dream” kind of theme to it just like I wanted. Next time I would probably add more images and try a different arrangement. Based on the learning target I think my project is between meets and needs a bit of work because I followed through the self evaluation checklist, but I do think I could've extended my project by adding some of my personal pictures.
